My name is Jake, and I am SO glad you are here! Whether it is from a joyful instagram video or my latest classroom text recommendation, I am thankful for whatever inspired you to click. In 2015, I graduated with degrees in Elementary/Middle Education and Theater Arts from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Since the start of my career, I have taught in a departmentalized elementary school, focusing on reading, writing, and phonics. Spanning from PreK to Third Grade, my seven years of teaching experience has shown me the many characteristics, habits, and talents of an engaged reader and writer.
